For Windows user, you have two ways of connecting. One is to plug the smaller end of the USB cable into the Android phone and plug the other end into the computer. The other way is via Wi-Fi. Before the Wi-Fi connection, you ought to install the Android APK file on your phone first. Then, your phone appears in the primary window. For the Mac users, Wi-Fi connection is not available in Mac OS X.

In the left sidebar, click the SMS icon. Then it displays all the text messages stored on your phone. Select the text messages you’d like to back up. Then click Export located on the upper side of the program. And finally choose a local folder to store the exported text messages.
