CBSE Board Exams 2018

Organize your study space:

Having an organized study space and a clean surrounding helps the mind to stay positive and focused towards your goal. Make sure all the notes are well arranged and ready to be used when you need them. Also, remove all the distractions to feel comfortable and focus as much as possible.

Use Flow Charts & Diagrams:

Flow Charts & Diagrams

Always try to study with a diagrammatic representation as it will help you to retain the concepts like cells for a longer duration of time. Studying through flow charts will help you to have a detailed understanding of the topic and these flowcharts will also help for quick revisions. As the days are nearing, condense your revision notes into one-page diagrams.

Practice Sample Papers:

No amount of revision can equal the learning you get when you practice a sample paper or previous year question paper. Doing this, you get a real feel of the final exam on questions asked and the pattern followed. While practicing the previous year question papers, you should make sure to time yourself. Staying time-bound will help you to complete your final exam on time.

Body and Mind:

Although time is running out, taking care of your body and mind is of prime importance. Make sure to have breaks during your study hours. Study in a pattern of sets as it will tune the mind to that pattern. A set can either be in 60-20 in which you study for 60 minutes and take a break of 20 minutes and repeat. You also need to take care of your body by drinking lots of water and staying away from junk food during this period of time. Eating junk food and dehydrating yourself will make you uneasy and prevent you from being fully functioning during your study hours.

Following these few tips will help you in your preparation towards the last few days to the commencement of the exam. Make sure to be bold and confident as it will keep you positive throughout this period.
